There are two teabags per day tucked in cubes that are fun to open (all packaging is plastic-free), which means it's great for sharing. A great classic tea calendar option. There are two teabags behind each door, so it's perfect for sharing. The calendar showcases different varieties of black tea and so is fairly traditional in flavours – exploring varieties such as Kenyan, Ceylon and Darjeeling alongside a few lightly flavoured options, such a Christmas tea, vanilla chai and English rose. There is still plenty to discover all month long, without anything too wacky so it is good for traditionalists. The compact design is slightly flimsy but has a pretty festive design with gold stars and decorative baubles.

We love the pretty design of this new calendar from English Tea Shop, with a festive burgundy town house style. Inside are 24 teabags in 12 different flavours, so some repeats but still a good level of variety across the month. The inside of the front door has tasting notes on each of the different teabags, with interesting festive creations to try such as The Gingerbread Man and Santa's Mint Reserve.

Inside are 24 different teas so no repeats all month. The different blends included will help you find a moment of calm each day in a busy December, with varieties such as Detox, Focus and Glow. The navy cardboard design is simple but attractive if your taste is more minimalist than some of the bright Christmas designs.
